“Karsanikos White Dry” wine comes from a mix of the local white grapes varieties of Karia plain (Livadi).
Varieties
These are varieties that survived the abandonment of the Lefkada mountain vineyards several years ago. Varieties such as Chlori, Lagorthi, Perachoritiko, Asprovertzamo and the white Muscat are vinified together giving an excellent result, the white wine of “Karsanikos”.
Taste
The precursor (the must which comes from breaking the grapes without spinning) of the varieties of small, medium but also intense acidity of white grapes in the right proportion gives balanced acidity at Karsanikos White dry, velvety taste and excellent aromas.
