The winery Karsanikos can be visited by anyone who would like to get to know it in person. The visitor can see the modern vinification and wine bottling equipment, the wine making exhibits that were used in the past such as stone grape presses (called “trochola”) with a wooden screw, grape-stomping vats and other equipment. Vine tasting takes place in a specially designed room or under the covered terrace, called “pontzos”, which provides unlimited view at a 500-meter altitude.
